Few people know the inner workings of the De Beauvoir Block better than Olivia who worked in our site office for several months before the building was complete. “It’s proved a useful experience because now, if anything crops up or requires attention, I know immediately who to turn to.”
Olivia is responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of The Block, from managing enquiries to ensuring our tenants and members get the best out of what The Block has to offer. She oversees the reception and café teams and is on-hand to provide or arrange assistance, as well as managing our spaces, including updates and refurbishments and welcoming new tenants.
Having previously worked in design back home in Essex, managing the De Beauvoir Block is, she allows, demanding. “In my experience, when people need assistance, they tend to need it immediately. So, I have to be prepared to drop everything and respond. But I love being busy so it suits me well.”
The De Beauvoir Block is a network of 33 workspaces, ranging from 300 to 2,500 sqft, designed and equipped to support individuals and businesses in the creative industries.
