Roxana Hurjui
Building Manager of De Beauvoir Block
Building Manager Roxy joined the team in 2023 to manage the De Beauvoir Block. An experienced facilities management professional, she is responsible for the delivery of exceptional service at the property and is the first point of contact for our tenants.
From tenant enquiries, health and safety to internal communication matters, her role is to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the space.
With a background as a print and broadcast journalist, Roxy moved to London from Romania in 2012 to seek a better life.
Gaining experience in property management, she later became Assistant Building Manager for a global commercial real estate services company. “Taking on this role with the Benyon Estate was a natural next step for me,” Roxy said, “it’s a great opportunity to further my career.”
With her journalism roots, communication remains important to Roxy, who employs these skills in her management style.
“I’m naturally a people person and believe in the importance of effective communication, so I want to draw on this and build great relationships with all the tenants here,” she added.
“I consider myself creative, so coming from a very corporate world to this artistic space at De Beauvoir Block is fantastic for me. I enjoy being around innovative ideas and fresh thinking and want to support the companies delivering that.”
A natural problem solver, Roxy takes a hands-on approach to the management of the building. “If there’s a problem, I want to go and see it myself and work out a solution. I want tenants to feel they are able to talk to me and trust me to deliver what they need.”
Roxy is looking to progress new concepts to grow The Block’s offering and engage with tenants. With a passion for sustainability, she is also looking for ways to drive positive environmental change.
