It was third time lucky as crowds returned to the popular Party in the Park event in De Beauvoir Square on Saturday 2nd July.
Organised by the De Beauvoir Association, the Covid-19 pandemic meant the event had to be postponed for the past two years.
There were smiles all round as families and businesses from across De Beauvoir Town enjoyed the many fun-filled activities that make the party such a fabulous day out.
The Benyon Estate was pleased to support the event. All children’s activities on the day were free and included a bouncy castle, face painting, a magician, and storytelling. There was also a book and toy giveaway for every youngster attending.
Along with a stall selling second-hand children’s clothes, the local community group The De Beauvoir WI was on hand with a range of tasty cake treats.
Organisers had a number of prizes kindly donated for the Grand Tombola and were delighted to raise much needed funds on the day.
