Receptionist and Estate Administrator

Martha Llewellyn Odlin, our Receptionist and Estate Administrator at De Beauvoir Block, has a wide range of creative interests that makes her the perfect fit for the role.

She joined the Benyon Estate from one of our commercial tenants, SkandiHus, which runs pottery classes from the Block, and Martha still teaches pottery there at the weekends.  She is also a talented soul singer and songwriter, having trained at BIMM Music Institute in Brighton.

Martha’s responsibilities including liaising with the co-workers who share office space in the Block, taking bookings for meeting rooms, assisting with a range of administrative tasks and supporting contractors and others who come onto the site.  “I try to help make things run smoothly,” she said.

Martha says she feels at home in the Block’s creative environment, working with commercial tenants and the Benyon Estate team.  “I’m loving it. It’s a great place to work. It’s the first time I have been in this sort of role and I really like the fact that there are so many fascinating businesses based here,” she says.

Martha, who lives close to De Beauvoir, also loves the Block café, attractive courtyard and events space, which she believes all add to the value for tenants based in the building.
