Back by popular demand this month was the De Beauvoir Autumn Shopping Trail, with businesses, organisations and residents taking to the streets to encourage everyone to shop local.

The weather didn’t stop the fun on Sunday, September 19th, as local people turned out to support companies, schools, charities, and residents from across De Beauvoir Town.

Driveways and front gardens were filled with everything from vegan Ethiopian food from Our Lady and St Joseph’s School, to homemade jams and preserves from De Beauvoir WI. There were cakes, bakes and honey, as well as pottery, skincare products, jewellery, and plants – truly something for everyone!

This was the third De Beauvoir Shopping Trail, following on from the success of the Christmas 2020 and Spring 2021 events, run to help raise funds for local schools and charities.

Planning for another Christmas Trail on Sunday, December 4th is now underway – get the date in your diaries!
