Hello Vet opens new clinic in Benyon Estate property

An innovative veterinary practice has become a commercial tenant of the Benyon Estate, opening a new state-of-the-art clinic in the heart of De Beauvoir!

Hello Vet has turned the building at 72c Southgate Road - formerly our Estate office - into consulting and treatment rooms for pets, with a focus on making vet visits feel as calm, transparent and straightforward as possible.

The clinic’s location has proved popular with clients, some of whom were already registered with Hello Vet and have made De Beauvoir their first-choice clinic when they need advice and support.

Hello Vet’s Marketing Manager, Joanna McClurg, said: “De Beauvoir is a lovely residential area with lots of pet owners, so it was the right place to establish a new practice to meet their needs.”

Among the innovations at the Southgate Road clinic is a dedicated cat consulting room, to keep dogs and cats apart. The space has been thoughtfully designed by vets, with pet-friendly interior details like sunken scales and separate waiting areas, which aim to minimise stress from the moment clients and pets arrive.

Hello Vet launched in 2024 and the De Beauvoir clinic is the sixth they have opened since the practice was established. There is a main surgical and diagnostics hub in Hackney’s London Fields and clinics across the Borough in Clapton, Columbia Road and Victoria Park Village.

Hello Vet is one of the first to invite clients to stay by their pets’ side during procedures helping them feel informed, reassured and part of the care process. The practice is built around the belief that greater transparency and a more supportive environment leads to better outcomes for both pets and veterinary teams.

Joanna said work began to convert the premises at 72c Southgate Road into a veterinary surgery in late 2025 and the modern building did not need any major construction work beyond being fitted out. The clinic opened in January 2026.
