Highlights from De Beauvoir Block
It has been an exciting few months at De Beauvoir Block, with the event program brimming with exciting events and workshops. The tenants of De Beauvoir Block have been busy delivering some exceptional work. Read more about some of their successes and upcoming events below:
Sarah Crowe Casting has recently worked on Archie, a four-part drama series exploring the life of Cary Grant, the English-American actor known for being one of classic Hollywood's definitive leading men. Jason Isaacs is perfectly cast for the lead role in the biopic, due for release at the end of November on ITV. Click here for a first look.
Creative tech studio, Lighthouse Studio, has been working in collaboration with fashion house Coach to bring their ‘Wear Your Shine’ campaign to life with a custom photo print experience at Coach’s flagship store on Regent Street, London. The photo booth encouraged shoppers to show off their most confident selves. Click here to see more.
Scott and the team at Albers café in The Block have launched a new menu to keep our tenants fuelled. Full of winter warmers and seasonal treats, head to their Instagram to see what’s on the menu.
- Thursday 30 November is film night! This month, we’re showing Brian and Charles, a comedy-drama that sees a lonely, isolated man build a robot to become his friend. All tenants and members are welcome – the film starts at 6pm at De Beauvoir Film Club with Becky.
- Wednesday 6 December is The Block Christmas party! Open to tenants and members, join us from 5:30pm for mulled wine, mince pies, and other delectable treats from Albers Café, as well as entertainment by our very own tenant, Lighthouse Studio!
- On Thursday 7 December, the next De Beauvoir Balloon Debates is back with its winter edition. Three speakers, three ideas, you choose for your favourite! Doors open at 6:30pm, debates start at 7pm. Click here to book your free ticket.
