The new look De Beauvoir Block reception is open for business
Work to transform the De Beauvoir Block reception is now complete – and I’m sure you’ll agree it is an impressive new look!
Now sectioned off from the café and communal space, the reception room provides a more formal welcome for tenants and guests.
As The Block has evolved into a thriving hub for creative businesses and co-working space, we felt the reception desk alone lacked presence, and so are really pleased to unveil the new space.
Work was undertaken by Sullivan Brothers Construction and designed by architects Mowat & Company to be in-keeping with The Block’s aesthetic.
The front gates have been replaced with glass doors leading into the new space, which features a desk made from London Plane timber and the relocated tenant letterboxes. Attractive glazed doors then lead you through to the café.
Thank you to all our tenants for your patience and understanding whilst the work was undertaken.
