Albers’ café has been praised by Hackney Citizen for its generous portion sizes, affordable prices and relaxed interior, being described as “this is a café and then some.”

Last week, Albers at The Block has also been recognised in the Financial Times as one of the best work canteens, which is brilliant news for our creative tenants at De Beauvoir Block who can enjoy the delicious selection of meals at breakfast and lunchtime.
Albers at The Block is open on weekdays to our tenants in the building, but if you’re keen to try the tasty delights that Albers has to offer, then make sure you visit their café on the corner of De Beauvoir and Englefield Road.
Well done to team Albers! We’re looking forward to popping by soon for some ‘quite good grub’.

A party powered by Gusty the wind turbine
It’s always good to host a party – but the event held on Benyon Estate land on Monday (November 4th) was a party with a purpose! In partnership with Octopus Energy and the pro-growth campaign group, Britain Remade, we welcomed journalists and guests from the energy sector to a Turbine Build Party to demonstrate the technology needed to tackle climate change.

The Benyon Estate is supporting a campaign to help remove planning barriers for the creation of new clean energy in urban areas. As a result of this there is a trial taking place on the yard at the rear of 62 and 64 Southgate Road.
