Celebrating Christmas with our tenants

Christmas came early to De Beauvoir as we toasted a glass of warm mulled wine with our long-standing residents for a festive get-together.

Over 40 guests were invited to the Block café and treated to a selection of delicious sandwiches, cookies, and scones with clotted cream and jam, all handmade and prepared by Scott and the talented Albers Team.

The afternoon provided an excellent opportunity for our wonderful neighbours to come together for a catch-up ahead of the busy festive season.

Joining the guests were Estate Manager, Edward Benyon and his wife, Jennifer, along with Estate team members, Sheanay, Kathleen and Iveta, and former colleague, Vanessa.

Iveta Senasiova, who organised the pre-Christmas celebration, said: “Each year we look forward to hosting our neighbours for our festive afternoon tea – it’s incredibly rewarding seeing how much this annual event means to our guests and their families.

“We’re proud to be at the heart of a close community and love being able to bring people together. A big thank you to Albers for once again providing an incredible spread!”.

The event was a huge success, and it was great to catch up with familiar faces. Edward added: “Some of our residents have lived on the Estate for over 50 years, so it’s important to us to make sure we take time to celebrate them and thank them for helping to make De Beauvoir the special place that it is.

"It’s a privilege to have the opportunity to bring members of our community together to celebrate this special time of the year.
