We’re celebrating the success of two businesses from The Benyon Estate and The Englefield Estate which have been shortlisted for a top, national food award.

For the second year running, The De Beauvoir Deli, a tenant business on Southgate Road, is a finalist in the 2024 Speciality & Fine Food Fair Awards, which recognise and celebrate "quality artisan products and inspiring independent retailers".

The Deli is joined by Cobbs Farm Co Ltd, a business on the Englefield Estate in Berkshire, in the same category for ‘Large Independent Retailer of the Year’. To be shortlisted for this prestigious award, finalists must be “a pioneering retailer at the heart of their community”.

Judges praised the Deli’s ongoing community initiative of donating dairy to the Arc Foodbank and 5% of profits to local charities, as well as its commitment to sustainability with biodegradable packaging and free-range meats.

Cobbs Farm has been commended for its focus on supporting local charities across multiple regions, and its emphasis on sourcing over 80% of food from local and British producers. It’s fantastic to see one of our tenants and a business from our sister estate, making up two of the four finalists.

We’re extremly proud to see tenant businesses from both the Benyon Estate and our sister estate, the Englefield Estate, making up two out of the four finalists.
