ClearFibre broadband initiative
We're thrilled that a partnership between The Benyon Estate and internet provider ClearFibre is bringing hyperfast, full-fibre broadband services to our residential tenants!
Following a £145,000 investment in the service, all of our residential tenants in De Beauvoir Town will be using ClearFibre as their internet provider.
It means our new tenants get broadband services within hours of moving in, and with a single provider the amount of wiring on heritage properties in the De Beauvoir Town conservation area is dramatically reduced.
Louis Hammonds, our Head of Block Management and Utilities, said the initiative was designed to reduce the stress of moving for new tenants now that broadband had become an essential service for residents.
There are no sign up or exit fees, helping to save tenants money. “The vast majority of properties had the service fully installed two years ago and all tenants have moved over to ClearFibre.” Louis added.

Tenants say they are impressed with the speed and reliability of the ClearFibre broadband services, especially given the increase in fully remote working.
Elliot Conway, a tenant since 2023, said: “Clearfibre is great. It’s never let us down and for people who work from home sometimes, it’s good to know it won’t let us down.”
Vanessa Robinson, a resident since 2019, also supported the new partnership, saying: “It's more affordable, and easier to go directly through Benyon. We appreciate the investment!”
