Father-and-son Bob and Rob Carville have carried out the major refurbishment works on properties owned by The Benyon Estate since 2012. The firm was originally introduced to the estate team through a tenant who had recommended their work.
While home is in Blackheath, they estimate to spend 70% of their time on projects for the estate. They are also Benyon Estate tenants, based out of a newly-refurbished workshop on De Beauvoir Road.
Gardening Team
Jeremy Bevan Gardens
Providing vibrant and attractive places to live and work in De Beauvoir Town is at the heart of what we do and an important part of this is creating welcoming outdoor spaces. The team at Jeremy Bevan Gardens is responsible for the design, build and maintenance of the gardens and green spaces of over 200 residential properties owned by the Estate. “The Benyon Estate cares about ensuring the gardens are maintained to an extremely high standard and taking them to a different level”
Plumbing Team
V & Mallors
No one knows the inner workings of the plumbing systems on The Benyon Estate better than our plumbers, V&A Mellors Ltd. Established by Andy’s father, in 1968, he first began to work here in the early 1980s.
Today, the firm, under Andy’s management, works exclusively for The Benyon Estate and have all their tools and spare parts held on a yard so that they can be on hand to address any emergencies as soon as possible.

Prime Link Property Services
Entrepreneur Ebun Ewedemi spotted a gap in the market for quality property inventory services and started her own business at age 23.
That was in 2016 and since then, Prime Link Property Services has grown in size and reputation, with one of its key clients being The Benyon Estate, for which it’s provided property inventory services for the past three years. “The Benyon Estate were looking for a new inventory company and we were recommended to them by a colleague,” said Ebun.
Locksmiths
Barry's Locks
The Benyon Estate is marking a 35-year professional association with one of Hackney’s most respected and long-established businesses, Barry’s Locks. Originally launched in 1980, the company is a locks, door and security specialist on Southgate Road, which has supported the Estate since it became a tenant.
Tree surveyors
Custom Cutters
Founded in 1984 in North London the company provides surveys on trees and recommends and carries out work, from tree surgery to felling if necessary. It also advises and carries out tree planting and will work on hedges. Custom Cutters works on large and small jobs for the Benyon Estate and has carried out high profile projects elsewhere in London, including tree pruning in the grounds of the Natural History Museum.

Deco Floors
This family-run company, established in 2004, provides flooring solutions in the commercial and domestic sectors. It has expanded rapidly since its foundation thanks to a significant volume of repeat business. The company’s mission statement is professionalism to the highest ethical standard and it is committed to operating in an environmentally-friendly way using non-toxic adhesives and floor levellers and FSC approved hardwood flooring and plywood substrate.

Pestline Pest Control
Unlike many pest control companies that opt for only lethal solutions, Pest Line provides wildlife trapping and removal services to the Benyon Estate. The company points out that attempting to remove free-roaming animals can be dangerous and difficult. “Pest Line Ltd provides the safe and humane trapping of intrusive wildlife. After an initial inspection we create a detailed trapping and exclusion programme.”

Working in both commercial and domestic settings, Kelly’s Blinds provide a complete service from an initial consultation to determine a customer’s needs to measuring up, delivering the blinds and fitting to a customer’s windows using licensed installers. Operating since 2021, Clever Clean provides a thorough cleaning service prior to properties being marketed. They also carry out a 'sparkle' clean to get properties ready for new tenants. Clever Clean are also responsible for cleaning some of our commercial spaces, including the Estate office.
